Good times of old
Stories that were told
Suspended in memory on chariots of gold.
Beach camping under starlight,
Full moon shining so bright,
Whispers on the ocean breeze
Watching flamingos take flight.
Fire and wine and playful chatter,
The world around us doesn’t matter,
We’re free and young and life is ours
Surrounded by lovely West Coast flowers,
The glistening sea is our playground,
As we swim, the fish scatter.
And as day breaks and our weary eyes close,
We dream of beauty for hours and hours.
